Magpie Cycling is a unique Mountain Bike Tour Outfitter & Guide Service with Professional MTB Instructors based in Moab Utah. Magpie Cycling offers multi-day trips in Canyonlands, on the Kokopelli Trail, the Grand Canyon North Rim, between Bryce & Zion National Parks, on Gooseberry Mesa near St George Utah and several other beautiful places in the American Southwest.
Magpie Cycling is owned by Mike Holme and Maggie Wilson, who have been guiding mountain biking and hiking tours since 1992 in the canyons and mountains of Utah, Arizona, Colorado, Hawaii and Mexico. The company emphasizes fun and education as well as safety and resource protection to inspire stewardship of public lands and maximize your cycling vacation experience!
Magpie Cycling took over the mountain bike touring operations of Nichols Expeditions in Canyonlands National Park in July 2004. Chuck & Judy Nichols chose to hand off the Canyonlands portion of their business which they began to build in the 1980’s specifically to Mike & Maggie knowing that the theme of personalized service from the owners would be preserved.
In 2014, Mike and Maggie also took over the operations of Solfun, a Moab based day tour operation.
