Moab Singletrack Skills Camp
Duration: 4 Days
Cost: $860/person
Jump Start your MTB trail riding season and set yourself up for a successful & confident year on the bike with MAGPIE CYCLING professional BICP certified MTB Instructors at one of our Moab Singletrack Skills Camps.
You can expect:
- Rider-to-Coach ratio of 6:1 maximum = one Study Pod
- Pre-Trip Meeting & Outdoor Supper 4pm to 7pm eve of first day – orientation, equipment check, supper (including vegetarian options)
- Skill Assessment and Study Pod assignments appropriate to your skill-fitness-interest levels
- Daily Warm-up Routine before each ride – short series of stretches and exercises that enhance MTB performance
- Daily Skill Instruction 30min-2hr of focused MTB skill instruction
- Daily Singletrack Ride 2.5-4hr with on-trail coaching, fruit & snack bars
- Performance Analysis Session 4pm-6pm eve of day 3 – each Student Rider gets 1-on-1 focused analogy of their technique and progress to date by their Coaches
- 3rd Night Party & Lite Dinner 6pm-8pm – hearty appetizers followed by a nutritious & fresh protein rich Salad crafted using local & organic ingredients. Don’t be concerned about other riders in the Camp being “far better” than yourself at mountain biking. Our MAGPIE Coaches embrace the opportunity to work with riders of all abilities – they’ll help you (re)learn the fundamentals, safely progress your skills, and improve your confidence. Maggie has always equated beginner MTB riders to a block of fresh clay – worked & nurtured correctly, a beginner rider can experience a great rate of progression in comparison to those with many years of MTB riding experience. That being said, the blocks of fresh clay that are well conditioned & malleable [open minded fit cyclists dedicated to learning] will be the contenders for a Most Improved Award at the end of Camp. ;-)
Moab Advanced Singletrack Skills Camp

Add this MTB Skills Camp to your MTB trail riding season and get Moab advanced MTB trail skills instruction and on-trail coaching from MAGPIE’s professional BICP certified Advanced MTB Skills Instructors. Set yourself up for successful and confident rides on Moab’s iconic Enduro style trails like the Whole Enchilada, Magnificent 7, Captain Ahab, etc.
