Our White Rim Trail 5-day LayOver MTB/Hike Tour in Canyonlands National Park has a unique bonus in the itinerary; it has a LAYOVER camp in the middle of the adventure. From our layover camp we’ll lead a big day hike to the top of the Island in the Sky for a bird’s eye view of the Park.

Suitable for adventurers in good physical condition and able to ride, hike, and be active outside for 3-6 hours a day, this trip delves deeper into an enormously scenic national treasure. We’ll travel by bike & foot through canyons with towering sandstone cliffs and ancient layers of rock containing fossils and petrified wood to those distant “places” in the landscape through a maze of undulating canyons where you’ll feel the remoteness of the Classic Wild West!

This trip is yours for riding, hiking slot canyons, viewing ancient ruins, taking a dip in the river, sleeping out under the stars or just kicking back at camp and taking in the spectacular views. Our meals are delicious, and our guides are seasoned experts who will help you make this the best week of riding you’ve ever had!

TESTIMONIALS

Red Rock Ramble

My girlfriend and I saddled up with Mike and Maggie of Magpie in Sept 07 for a ramble along the White Rim trail. It was a first-rate experience. The scenery and organic bison was only outdone by their attention to every detail. Magpie you Rock!

White Rim trail – Stunning Scenary and Awesome Off Road Bicycling

My wife and I participated in a 4-day off road bicycle tour of the White Rim trail hosted by Magpie Adventures. Mike and Sam guided us and 6 other cyclists along one of the most beautiful off road bicycle rides in the world! We highly recommend Magpie for this trip.

White Rim Trail

We rode the White Rim Trail in April 2008 and it was awesome! It is a beautiful place and it was great to have the support that Magpie gave us– especially the food. Breakfast was always great, and after a long morning ride, lunch was very welcome and delicious.
